GARY SELLARS
I take up the League's offer of managing the U14 Representative team with genuine excitement and enthusiasm. When I was a 14 year old I was playing representative football for the Swindon Minors League and Swindon Schools Reps so I know exactly what it is like for these boys.
I went on to play for the County team, the West of England team and had residential English schoolboy trials at Lilleshall before playing in the Swindon Town Youth nursery team.
I have now been coaching for 7 years with last season (08/09) being the most successful in terms of winning trophies. At Croft A we won trophies in 5-a-side, 6-a-side, Futsal and also won the Under13 Division 2 title without losing a game. We also won a fair play award and commendation from the Cornish FA For me seeing the boys develop as players and watching them grow into fine young men has been my greatest satisfaction, and my coaching at Croft A continues.
I am greatly looking forward to this adventure with the U14 Reps and look forward to working with all the players and meeting their families.

It is a privilege and honour to have been chosen to jointly run the team with Gary (aka Sid) I have played and been involved with football for over 30 years and two and a half years ago I took on the role of running Swindon Soccer Skills. This season the team has been playing under the name of Northern Lights S. I am coaching the under 14s but I also have formed an under 12 team ready for next season.
I have a Level 1 coaching badge and have an enhanced CRB and I am really looking forward to working with the lads and meeting their families throughout the season.
