North Wilts & District Youth & Minor Football League

MATCH BALLS

Training balls are not considered to be suitable as match balls and in future Referees will not allow any match to proceed unless the ball provided for by the home team clearly states ‘match quality’.

All match balls must be white and not any other solid colour unless an approved match quality football.

From now on any home team failing to provide a minimum of two match footballs that states ‘match quality’ on the football or providing a ball considered as not fit for play will forfeit the match to his opponents, thus resulting in the home team being responsible for causing the match to be abandoned and will be liable for any expenses incurred by the match official.
